Coaching is an important part of learning to become a leader. We can all use the skills that are available through coaching seminars. The skills you will learn are listening, giving positive feedback, keeping on the agenda, organization, accountability, and a vast list of resources through an organization called CHURCH SMART. This will be available to you as part of your seminar fee for Coaching 101.

Coaching 101 seminars are not only for small group leaders, but also for other leaders in the church. They usually take place on one day in the morning and afternoon at a designated church in our synod. These seminars will help all leaders to encourage their group members to reach their goals and find the support that they need. Anyone is welcome to attend. The cost is about $100, but Ascension will offer a 50% scholarship to all who register.
