The Ascension Sunday School gathers blankets and assembles school kits for Lutheran World Relief every fall, and collects funds for Heifer Project International in the spring.

One or more small groups conduct “reverse offerings” to collect food and funds for the Waukesha Food Pantry.

Ascension has organized a “Day of Service” in which volunteers are linked up with local agencies and individuals to meet a variety of needs. 

One or more individuals assemble an “Angel Tree” to collect gifts for refugee families or other families in need in the community at Christmas

When the need arises, members contribute to the Ascension Good Samaritan Fund, which provides emergency funding for people in need, both at Ascension and in the community.
