IT'S PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME FOR FEED THE KIDS MISSION PROJECT

Ascension Sunday School and Puppets of Praise need your help to fill the lunch bags to feed kids all summer long at the Waukesha parks. Please help support the Salvation Army's Feed the Kids program to provide lunches for those in need. Drop off the items listed in the food barrel next to the Puppets of Praise bulletin board by the nursery: peanut butter, jelly, juice boxes, fruit snacks, chips, pretzels, snack mixes, cookies, pudding cups, gift cards to purchase bread.

CRASH YOUTH FLAMINGO FLOCKING FUNDRAISER MAY 7 - 19

Flocks of flamingoes will begin to take flight May 7. If they land in your yard, they will be removed after 24 hours for a donation of $25 and sent to the yard of an Ascension family of your choosing. If pink isn't your thing, purchase Flamingo Insurance on Sunday, May 6 for $15. Support CRASH's trip to the ELCA Youth Gathering in July 2012. ASCENSION SPIRIT SPINNERS BIKE CLUB TO HAVE FIRST RIDE MAY 19

The Spirit Spinner's Bike Group will be having their first road ride of the season, Saturday, May 19 with a ride route to be determined, but an estimated 35-40 miles on local roads. AMEN MINISTRIES HOST BREWER GAME OUTING

Tickert are on sale on Sundays after each service for the Brewer's game on June 1 at 7pm.  Tickets cost $22/each (regularily $32).  We plan to car pool and tailgate together.  Play ball!

BUILD PAVILION AT MEMORIAL GARDENS

AMEN Ministries is constructing a shelter on the Ascension grounds.  Helpers are needed on June 2 for painting.  An electrician is also needed.  Sign up in the Narthex or contact Mark Otto at 262-370-8033

AMEN BIG GUY/LITTLE GUY CAMPING TRIP, June 15 – 17

AMEN is sponsoring a camping trip at Ottawa Lake State Park which is only 30 minutes from Waukesha. Join us for hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, campfires and lots of fun. GIRLFRIENDS HOST SALAD SUPPER & A MOVIE ON WED JUNE 27 AT 7PM

Back by popular demand: a Potluck supper of salads, salads, salads, and more of your favorite salads! After supper we’ll enjoy a movie (Joyful Noise, starring Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton).  All women welcome! Admission is free, but each person attending should bring a salad to share. Bring your salad, ready to serve, with a serving utensil.
