Pastoral Succession Team Update #4

When will a Call Committee be formed to seek a permanent new
pastor?
Once Pastor Jim as left and interim associate pastor is in place, we expect to
put this team together during the month of October.

Who will serve on the call committee?
In accordance with synod guidelines, the team likely will be comprised of up
to 9 people and will be representative of the makeup of the congregation.

How will the Call Committee be chosen?
The Pastoral Succession Team and the Church Council will identify people to
approach about serving on the Call Committee. The committee will be
appointed by the council in accordance with our constitution. If you are
interested in serving on the Call Committee or would like to nominate
someone for consideration, please contact John Rodgers, Rick James or
Chris Holloway.

Can we call the interim associate pastor as the permanent
replacement for Pastor Jim?
No/ Synod rules do not allow the interim associate pastor to be called as a
permanent replacement.
