Ascension's youth ministry invites high school students to participate during the season of Lent in the mime troupe, which portrays the final hours of Christ’s life in mime. There are no words, just actions synchronized to music communicating the power and poignancy of Jesus' Passion. Throughout Lent, the mime troupe travels to churches to share God’s message of love, hope, and forgiveness through Jesus Christ through the story of the Last Supper, the betrayal, the trial, the crucifixion and the sorrow surrounding Jesus’ death.
