We view Confirmation as a critical piece of one’s spiritual journey. In 7th and 8th grades, youth have the opportunity to begin to explore, learn, and develop a new and personal faith journey that began in baptism. Confirmation is a three-year program. Years one and two will study God’s Word, serve, share, pray and worship together through a series of large group learning events, small groups, and a retreat.
Large group Confirmation takes place on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month, and on the 2nd Thursday (or sometime during the 2nd week of the month), small groups meet for service projects in the community or at church.
The primary goal of Confirmation is to develop a caring, learning, serving community that meets us where ever we are on the journey and moves us joyfully onward toward the day when we will stand and profess our own faith.
