At Ascension, we view Confirmation as the continuation of one's spiritual development, the beginning of "living out" one's own faith in new ways. 7th & 8th grade students have the opportunity to begin to explore their own faith through large and small groups, faith exploration events, an annual retreat, an optional "sex from a faith perspective" lock-in, and family faith practices at home. Confirmation is the opportunity to learn, explore, and develop a personal faith, which began at our baptism. 

The primary goal of our JOLT Confirmation program is to share with students the joy of a deep and rich relationship with God through the building of community and individual relationships and the careful instruction of students with regard to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

JOLT 1 & 2 (7th & 8th grade) meets on Thursdays from 6:30-8pm beginning September 15.

JOLT 3 (9th grade) meets as part of high school youth group and other special events throughout the year. 

Confirmation Sunday is May 20, 2012.
