Ascension Lutheran Church is a growing, progressive Christian community where hearts are touched, lives changed, and gifts released for Christ's mission in Waukesha and beyond.  Our mission statement helps guide our ministry: Inspired by Christ's love we share God's life in joyful worship, spiritual growth, caring relationships, and mission outreach. Ascension is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Founded in 1949, the church has 1700 baptized members.
