Monthly Mission

Each month Ascension designates a special mission to support. The support comes through offering envelopes, prayer and education. The money collected for the mission goes directly to the organization or project. It could be local or global. For example, projects have included funding a physician from our congregation to do medical mission work in Bangladesh. Another month Ascension focused on the local Women's Center Domestic Abuse Shelter. One-half of the mission funds support projects such as these and one-half goes directly to the Synod/National Church.
